Welcome to Palm Harbor Happenings – your hub for community connections and local business support in North Pinellas and surrounding areas!

Established on December 10, 2013, by Shelly Worden, Palm Harbor Happenings started as a Facebook Group for sharing local events. Joined by Stephanie Andrews, one of the 50 founding members, the duo expanded the group to over 33,000 members and counting.

Beyond event-sharing, the group has become a platform for residents to find local businesses for various needs, post about lost and found animals, and engage in discussions on local topics. These conversations have attracted local reporters and community influencers, resulting in news stories and impactful initiatives such as Caring for Kids in Pinellas County – a pack-a-snack group for elementary school children. The group has also fostered lasting friendships, business growth, and even wedding celebrations!

As staunch supporters of local businesses, Shelly and Stephanie took their mission beyond Facebook, creating a website to reach residents and showcase businesses, services, and exclusive PHH Deals.

The website offers free and premium listings for businesses, with premium members gaining access to additional features such as the PHH Deals page and enhanced posting abilities in the Facebook group. To access the deals, simply visit the website or scan the QR Code on one of the branded keytags available at select businesses throughout the community.
